Herefordshire Council’s gritter teams are on standby with the possibility of a little sleet and snow over the next 48 hours. The main risk is over higher ground but we may see a wintry mix at lower levels overnight and into Friday.

Tonight:
Outbreaks of rain and wintry precipitation continue into the night. Possibly falling as snow over the hills. A risk of fog patches and localised frosts by dawn. Minimum temperature 0 °C.
Friday:
A cloudy but largely dry start with morning fog patches. Spells of rain and showers through the afternoon, turning wintry at times. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
