The owners of an independent fuel garage in Herefordshire have been left furious after a motorist drove off without paying for £83.40 worth of Unleaded fuel.
The incident, which has been reported to Police, occurred at the Forge Filling Station in Wormbridge on Sunday.
In a post on Facebook, the Forge Filling Station said:
“To the man (passenger) and driver of this YELLOW mini who had NO intention to pay for your £83.40 of unleaded at 2.22pm on 2nd June 2024.
“You have been reported to the police
unfortunately for you though we have cameras and you looked in its direction.
“We are a small local garage and things like this hit us hard.
“The car itself probably smells of unleaded because you got quite a bit on the floor.
“If anyone has any information on the car/driver/passenger (which we believe are false plates) please get in touch.”
