A fundraising page has been set up to help raise money for the funeral of a Hereford man who died in complex circumstances earlier this month.
Chaz, aged 63-years-old, died in Hereford on 8th June.
Initially, his death was treated as a murder investigation, but this is no longer the case, although investigations are continuing.
Chaz’s family have worked hard to raise the majority of the money for his funeral, but find those legs a little short.
In a post on GoFundMe, the family said:
“Chaz died unexpectedly on June 8th, 2023, in complex circumstances aged just 63. As a family, we’ve all chipped to try & cover funeral expenses, but we are finding ourselves short.
“It’s a big ask but if you could spare a little to go into the pot, we’d be really grateful.
“The funeral will be on Monday 3rd July at 12:15 pm at Hereford Crematorium, followed by a wake near one of his favourite spots.
“We’d love to invite all those who wish to come and celebrate his life and many adventures.
“If you, like us, have funny, fond, and fantastically inappropriate memories of him, help us out with a few quid and we’ll give him a send-off he’d be proud of.”
