A fundraising page has been launched to support a 6-year-old boy from Herefordshire who has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
Information on the GoFundMe page set up for Reggie says:
“I am trying to raise funds for my Nephew Reggie who is 6 years old and his Mum and Dad.
“Reggie has been diagnosed with a rare cancer. Only 60 children per year in the UK are diagnosed with this type of cancer.
“Reggie was nearly sent home by a hospital saying it was growing pains, but his Mum and Dad refused that this was the case and demanded an MRI scan which discovered a 10cm mass.
“Reggie was rushed to Birmingham Children’s Hospital that night and has been there 2 weeks.
“Reggie has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma.
“This has been the worst time for our family and a massive strain on Reggies Mum and Dad.
“I’m trying to raise funds so both Mum and Dad can stay by Reggie’s side through his long treatment plan ahead.
“My brother is self employed so no work, no money. Any funds will help with day to day life, such as travelling and keeping their head above water with their bills.
“For Reggie to get back to laughing, dancing and filling the room with his love.
“If only you could meet him, you would love him too.”
