There will once again be free parking in Hereford in the run up to Christmas to support local businesses.
The Hereford Business Improvement District shared the following post on social media earlier:
“We are pleased to announce the Hereford City Centre FREE parking dates for Christmas late-night shopping on Wednesday 6th, 13th & 20th December from 4 pm. Car parks included are Old Market, Maylord Orchards and Herefordshire Council car parks.
“Excludes Friar Street and private car parks.
“On Wednesday 13th and 20th, plus the weekend of 16th and 17th December Hereford City Life will also host entertainment and attractions for visitors to the city centre to enjoy and bring festive cheer to Hereford at this magical time.
“Free parking is in partnership with Hereford City Council, Herefordshire Council, Old Market and Maylord Orchards.

Mike Truelove, Hereford BID CEO said, “I am really pleased Hereford BID was again able to organise the Christmas free parking across the city. It will help boost footfall across the BID area with shoppers and dinners visiting the city for late night shopping. Hereford City Life will host Christmas entertainment and attractions providing fun and excitement during the festive period. This year will also feature a very special photo opportunity for all the visitors”.
