Jess Jones, a proud ex-pupil of Weobley High School, recently received an award at Hartpury College’s prestigious Student Prize Day.
Jess’s outstanding contribution and dedication across all water sports disciplines earned her this well-deserved recognition.
Jess was one of only 21 students from the College’s 2025 cohort to be honoured at the event, where the prizes were presented by none other than renowned actor and Hartpury College Chancellor, Martin Clunes. Her achievement highlights her commitment to excellence and her passion for water sports.
Currently, Jess is gaining valuable hands-on experience during her placement with Rockley Adventures in Poole. Her goal is to travel the world, teaching her love for water sports — from sailing and kayaking to stand up paddle boarding and more.
Alongside her aquatic pursuits, Jess also has a keen interest in climbing, which she hopes to incorporate into her future adventures and teaching endeavours.
