The Foreign Office has shared important guidance and advice for anyone currently in Greece, or planning to travel to the country, following devastating wildfires following a spell of extremely hot weather, with temperatures reaching 45c.
A number of airlines, including EasyJet and Jet2 have cancelled the majority of flights to islands such as Rhodes.
Ryanair at present are continuing to run with the majority of their scheduled flights, but anyone travelling is advised to keep in regular contact with their airline as the situation remains fluid.

Extreme temperatures are affecting many areas of Greece and there are a number of active wildfires.

Call the Greek Emergency Services on 112 if you are in immediate danger.
The Greek government has established a Crisis Management Unit to respond to the situation in Rhodes.
