The River Lugg and River Wye are continuing to cause problems in Herefordshire today, with levels continuing to rise.

The River Wye is set to peak at around 5.2 metres in Hereford this evening. Riverside paths and routes such as the A438 at Letton and Holme Lacy Road are closed due to flooding. 

The River Lugg is reaching record levels between Leominster and Hereford, with Aylestone Hill roundabout, a small section of the A4103 (Hereford to Worcester Road) and the A49 (Leominster Bypass) all flooded this afternoon.

The Sutton St Nicholas Road to Hereford is closed in both direction with floodwater over a metre deep in places.
