A Flood Warning has been issued on the River Wye at Builth Wells.
Natural Resources Wales issued the warning at 2.50am this morning, following heavy rain across Mid Wales throughout the evening and overnight period.
Levels at Builth Wells are expected to peak in the coming hours at between 4.3-4.5 metres, with widespread flooding expected.
Overnight rain should clear to leave a fairly dry day on Thursday, but river levels are expected to remain high.
A flood alert is also in force on the Wye in Herefordshire, where levels are now starting to respond to the heavy rain.
Flooding is expected in the Hereford area on Thursday, with prone routes such as the A438 (Brecon Road) at Letton and Holme Lacy Road in Hereford likely to be affected by flooding.
We’ll have further updates throughout the day.
