Firearms officers stopped a car in Worcester yesterday evening, in what was a crazy few minutes for motorists.
The incident occurred at just after 6.30pm and armed police were seen surrounding a vehicle before arresting one male.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
âFirearms officers in Worcester stopped a vehicle on Whittington Road this afternoon, taking one man into custody.
âThe road is now open and we would like to reassure the public this was a contained incident and there is no risk to the wider public.â
