Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews have been responding to reports of a vehicle fire in Herefordshire.
The incident occurred on the A466 between Wormelow and Kings Thorn.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said:
“As we were returning from the NFU event in Kingstone we were mobilised to reports of a vehicle fire on the A466 between Wormelow and Kings Thorn.
“On arrival one small car was well alight and immediately BA crews dealt with the fire using a hose reel jet, also dealing with the nearby verge that caught alight.
“Thankfully no persons were injured. The road was closed for a short time whilst we carried out firefighting operations.
“Incident left in the hands of the police.”
