NEWS UPDATE | Fire crews were called to fire at Avara Foods in #Hereford at 7am this morning.
A spokesperson for H&W Fire said:
“Fire crews from Hereford Fire Station were called to smoke issuing at Avara Foods in Grandstand Road at 7.06am.
“A fire involving cabling running to an external generator was dealt with by crews and the generator was isolated by an on-site engineer.
“The incident was marked as ‘pending closure’ at 8.16am”.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews are currently in attendance at a high voltage electrical fire in the Grandstand Road area of Hereford.
Cordons have been put in place and crews are waiting for the arrival of western power.
