Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to a large blaze on a hillside near Church Stretton on Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred in the Cwmdale Valley area, near Church Stretton in Shropshire.
Crews from Craven Arms, Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Baschurch assisted Church Stretton Fire Station with this incident.
Fortunately crews were able to extinguish the blaze before it spread further.
Inspection work has taken place this morning to check for hotspots and the cause of the fire.
