Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford were called to a fire at a fish and chip shop in Hereford city centre yesterday afternoon.
Crews were called to Commercial Road at just after 4pm on Monday afternoon to reports of a fire at the Golden Galleon fish and chip shop.
Reports state that the fire was quickly put out and staff immediately left the building upon discovering the fire. There have been no reports of any injuries so far but we are awaiting an update from the fire service. Commercial Road was partially blocked while crews tackled the fire, but the road was fully open by 6pm.
