A family from Herefordshire are appealing for help in finding members of the public who may be able to help with enquiries after an item was stolen from their sons grave.

Simon Davies’s son Macca Davies sadly passed away three years ago when he was involved in a RTC on the A4103 at Storridge.

Simon Davies posted on Facebook saying:

“Can any of my Facebook friend help? A small shrub (which was a Christmas gift) was stolen from Macca’s grave today Tuesday 19th January)

“Was anyone near Cradley churchyard at around 1pm when we think it happened and may have seen something?

“Investigations so far have led us to believe that it was a couple with a smallish black/white dog. The lady may have been wearing a purple coat and the man, sporting a beard, was wearing a red scarf.

“Any further details would be appreciated so we can ask them why they would steal from a loved ones grave.”

West Mercia Police are currently dealing with the incident and anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 22/5379/21
