Herefordshire is set to sizzle later this week, with hot weather spreading north from Spain and Africa.
A plume of very warm and hot air is expected to move into the United Kingdom as we head into the middle of the week, with temperatures predicted to peak in Hereford on Friday at around 27c.
The Met Office forecast for the coming week:
Monday:
Largely fine and dry on Monday. Early sunshine giving way to more cloud for a time from mid-morning, then breaking up to leave a sunnier end to the day. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Fine and dry with a fair amount of sunshine through the midweek period. Temperatures increasing, becoming very warm and probably quite humid from Wednesday.
