Emergency services were called to an incident on Widemarsh Street in Hereford on Monday evening.

A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Fownhope joined West Midlands Ambulance Service at the incident.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:

“A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Fownhope Fire Station was called at 19:41 on 2 July to assist with gaining entry to a flat in Widemarsh Street, Hereford. 

“Access to the property was gained through an open window on the first floor using a triple extension ladder. 

“There was no-one inside the property. The incident was marked as pending closure at 19:59.”
