Emergency services were called to an incident on the River Wye in Hereford in the early hours of this morning.
Greyfriars Bridge and the Old Bridge were temporarily closed.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:
“A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Hereford Fire Station – plus boat crews from Hereford and Worcester – were called at 04:19 on 4 November to a concern for safety at Greyfriars Bridge, Hereford.
“A woman in her 20s was rescue from the water by the swift water rescue team and boat crews and handed over to the care of the ambulance service who attended along with police.
“The incident was marked as pending closure at 06:02.”
