Emergency services were called to a serious single vehicle collision overnight.
The collision occurred on the B4555 in South Shropshire.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“PC Nolan assisted Bridgnorth Response PC Richards this evening 12/10/2024 in dealing with a single vehicle road traffic collision on the B4555 at its junction with Covert Lane Just outside of Chelmarsh.
“Both occupants of the vehicle were ok with one requiring a check up at hospital.
“Fire crews from West Midlands Fire Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
“Can I please make a plea to be aware of the drop in weather causing greasy and slippery top surfaces of roads at this time of the year, coupled with the Mud from agricultural vehicles this can cause a hazardous surface which cannot be seen on dark unlit roads until its too late.”
