West Mercia Police and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews are currently situated in Asda car park with reports of an incident near Greyfriars Bridge.
A member of the public told the Your Herefordshire team that officers and fire crews have entered a door located under Greyfriars Bridge.
Greyfriars Bridge and the riverside path remain open.
