Emergency services are dealing with a serious collision on a busy route this evening.
The collision has occurred on the A49 (Edgar Street) in Hereford, at the junction with Blackfriars Street.
West Mercia Police are in attendance and the road is closed southbound.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision, with one vehicle ending up crashing through a hedge and into Waitrose car park.
Motorists are being diverted down Blackfriars Street with larger vehicles being asked to turn around and find an alternative route.
