Emergency services are currently in attendance at a collision near Leominster.

The collision has occurred on the A49 near OK Diner and a van has left the carriageway and ended up in a hedgerow. 

West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire andi Rescue Service are at the scene.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:

“Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Kingsland and Leominster Fire Stations were called at 12:39 on 3 February to an RTC involving a small vehicle on the A49 near Leominster. 

“A small van had left the carriageway and was in a hedgerow, The occupant of the van had been released from his vehicle before the arrival of fire service personnel and was being attended to by ambulance staff. 

“Police were also in attendance. Crews have made the vehicle safe and are still currently on scene.”
