NEWS | Emergency services called to collision in area where overgrown verges have reduced visibility

A Kington Fire Station crew were called to assist Eardisley Fire Station at a collision on a narrow lane yesterday (Wednesday).

A spokesperson for Kington Fire Station said:

“Yesterday, helped by Eardisley Fire Station, we were called to a RTC involving two vehicles on a very narrow lane with overgrown verges making visibility even more difficult!

“Luckily there were no nasty injuries … just a postie stuck in the van! After a successful operation to remove the stuck postie we headed home for an ice lolly from the boss and to wash the appliance (fire engine!). Gotta keep it clean and shiny.”
