An earthquake hit parts of South Wales on Sunday, leading to reports of the ground shaking from across South Wales and parts of England.

The earthquake was described as ‘weak’ and registered 2.9 on the Richter scale. The epicentre is predicted as being in Monmouthshire, with reports of the ground shaking being reported from as far away as Newport and Ross-on-Wye, as well as the Forest of Dean.
