A driver has been arrested after being spotted driving at more than 90mph on the A465 near Abergavenny.
The driver was also arrested for being under the influence of drugs, with the motorists ten year old son in the car.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police said:
“Vehicle spotted A465 Abergavenny. Driving 90+mph in wet and windy conditions with a ten year old in the car.
“Driver was also under the influence of cannabis and had the drug under the seat of his child. Driver arrested.
“Son safeguarded. Social services being made aware.”
