From Hereford Cops:
We would like to remind the dog owners of their responsibilities following an incident in the Lower Bullingham area of Hereford.
On Sunday 7th March 2021 an unknown number of dogs strayed into a field of cattle. The dogs began chasing the cattle and three cows ran into a brook where they subsequently drowned.
Dog owners have a responsibility to ensure their dogs are under control when around livestock. We ask that owners ensure that they know where their dogs are at all times, be confident that their dog’s whereabouts are known at all times and that there are no livestock around. Unfortunately this incident involved people walking through a field with no right of way so please stick to signposted footpaths and bridle paths.
If anyone has any information relating to the worrying of cattle in Lower Bullingham then we ask that you pass that information to us quoting incident 96 of 8th March 2021.
