A dog owner has contacted Your Herefordshire to share her concerns about the number of vaping cartridges and batteries being dumped in a Hereford park.
Rachel, who lives in Hereford shared concerns raised about the number of vaping cartridges and batteries dumped in Churchill Gardens.
She said:
“A local resident contacted me (standing as a council candidate) about vaping cartridges and batteries being left all over Churchill Gardens.
“These are so dangerous to dogs and can do untold damage if picked up, bitten into or swallowed.
“I would very much like to alert fellow dog owners so they are aware.
“I did a litter pick yesterday and filled a bag and hope to make this a regular thing at least so I know my dog (Darcey) is ok to walk there.”
