Junction of Burcott Road and Widemarsh Street – Installation of new Vehicle Restraint System.
Phase 1: Widemarsh Street
Works will be starting on Monday 14th March 2022 to (and including) Saturday 19th March 2022. The fully signed diversion route for cars/LGVs is via Newtown Road / Farriers Way / Burcott Road and vice versa.
Phase 2: Burcott Road
Works will be starting on Monday 21st March 2022 to (and including) Saturday 26th March 2022. The fully signed diversion route for cars/LGVs is via Widemarsh Street / Newtown Road / Farriers Way and vice versa.
The type of work Balfour Beatty are doing will mean that for both phases, they will need to fully close the road we are working on for 24 hours each day.
The programme of work may change in certain circumstances, such as bad weather. This may happen at short notice and without further notification.
