The COVID-19 infection rate in the South Wye area of Hereford has risen once again, after falling for the previous two days.

Case numbers in the Hinton, Hunderton, Lower Bullingham, Putson, Redhill and Newton Farm areas of the city have sharply risen again after showing signs of briefly falling.

In data released up until 17th November, the latest infection rates across Herefordshire are as follows:

HEREFORD SOUTH â€“ 53 new cases (Infection rate of 542 cases per 100,000 population. This is UP from 490.8 yesterday)

HEREFORD SOUTH WEST â€“ 36 new cases (Infection rate of 435.3 cases per 100,000 population. This is UP from 386.9 yesterday)

HEREFORDSHIRE â€“ 335 new cases (Infection rate of 173.8 cases per 100,000 population. This is DOWN from 183.1 yesterday)

ROSS-ON-WYE â€“ 7 new cases (Infection rate of 61.9 cases per 100,000 population)
