COVID-19 continues to cause problems at schools across the county, with Blackmarston School in Hereford confirming that Puffins class will be closed from today (Monday 28th March) until further notice, due to staff shortages.

An update from Blackmarston School on the Herefordshire Council website earlier said:

“Puffins Class will be closed from Monday 28th March until further notice, due to staff shortages arising from Covid infections within the class team. We will notify parents and carers as soon as possible when we are able to re-open the class and in the meantime, remote learning will be made available to families. We have re-opened Wrens Class on Monday 28th March as we have had sufficient staff back in school to do this safely. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
