NEWS | COVID-19 case at Whitecross High School turns out to be negative - Herefordshire’s Independent Source of News & Information

Whitecross High School in Hereford reported yesterday that a student had tested positive for Coronavirus and that some students were self-isolating as a result of the positive test.

Headteacher Tim Knapp has today explained that the result was actually negative.

A roller coaster 24 hours – a positive covid test in one of our students was actually negative. A mistake in the analysis and reporting process. Huge thanks to our parents for their understanding and looking forward to seeing those who were self-isolating back in school.
