Car parking charges could be set to rise further in Herefordshire, with a decision on whether to implement a general increase in charges in council owned car parks expected next month.
If an increase in charges is decided, it is expected to come into force on or after the 16th May 2022.
The Car Parking Charges Review was announced yesterday (2nd February) and mentions plans to approve new car parking charges in order to apply a general increase in tariffs for parking at all council car parks and on street pay and display locations.
It states that the new charges would take effect on or after 16th May 2022 pending council approval.
