A car ‘mounted a kerb’ in Hereford, before the motorist was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
The incident occurred outside Hereford Police Station.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“On Tuesday afternoon a car was observed by officers from the safer neighbourhood team driving dangerously near to the three counties showground.
“Local officers called upon the assistance of officers from the road Policing unit (RPU) to assist in a search for the vehicle that was eventually located and stopped on Sherrard’s Green Road in Malvern.
“The driver, a 19 year old man, was arrested under suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of class ‘A’ drugs, not wearing a seat belt, driving a motor vehicle with no insurance and driving otherwise in accordance with a license.
“When officers arrived at Hereford custody, a second driver mounted the kerb in front of a Police officer who was just pulling out of the station.
“The driver was also arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of class ‘A’ drugs.”
