NEWS | Tributes pour in after the announcement of the death of Captain Sir Tom Moore - Herefordshire’s Independent Source of News & Information

Second World War veteran Captain Sir Tom Moore, who in lockdown raised millions for the NHS, has died aged 100, his family has announced.

Sir Tom’s family announced over the weekend that he had been hospitalised after battling pneumonia. Sir Tom had also tested positive for COVID-19 and was taken to hospital after struggling with his breathing.
