At a meeting of Full Council last Friday (28 January) the elected members of Herefordshire Council voted unanimously to call for the establishment of a Water Protection Zone across the River Wye and Lugg Catchment.
Cllr David Hitchiner, the Leader of the Council has sent a letter to Minister Pow, Under Secretary of State for DEFRA, renewing the call for all partners to come together to strengthen the approach to tackling the issue.
