Butlin’s has announced that a number of new rides will open at its Skegness in time for Summer 2023.
An update on the Butlin’s website said:
“We’re bringing four brand-new rides to our Skegness resort for 2023! With investment and planning permission approved, we’re ready to take our fairground to new heights. Not only that, but we’ll be sprucing up some of your existing favourites to give the whole place a fresh new look.
“Enter through our immersive 22-metre digital tunnel and experience a kaleidoscope of colour, twinkling lights and feelgood sounds. Go again and again on new family attractions, including Eclipse – an intertwining arm ride that’s the first of its kind in the UK – then stop and refuel at our new kiosk.
“From candy floss and ice cream to hotdogs and doughnuts, take your pick from a tempting range of classic fairground treats. If adrenaline-fuelled rides aren’t your thing, then grab a drink or snack and soak up the atmosphere in our covered seating area.
“The fairground will remain ‘free-flow’ meaning you can go on your favourite rides as many times as you like, and you don’t have to book! Plus, it’s all included in the price of your break*.
“To minimise disruption and keep the fairground open as much as possible during the build, the work will be carried out in phases starting from July 2022. Stay tuned for more updates.”
