A busy road in Hereford has reopened after a lorry fire earlier today. A lorry from Bartonsham Farm Dairies caught fire at the top of Aylestone Hill at around 12.15pm this afternoon.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews attended the call alongside West Mercia Police.
The lorry was completely destroyed in the fire and a clean up operation had to take place before police would allow the road to reopen.
We’ve had a number of people contact us asking us about the welfare of the driver. No injuries have been reported by West Mercia Police but we are awaiting official clarification.
