Update from Halo:
The Bromyard Centre Reopening Update. Proposed reopening date – Wednesday 8th December 2021.
Since our last update in the summer, an incredible amount of work has been going on to repair the damage to the building, interior and electrics in the Centre caused by the flash flood. A full appraisal of the roof problem has been undertaken and once the building was dried out we started work on the deep cleaning.
The next jobs soon to be carried out include painting and decorating and fixing of all major electrical functions including lighting and the fire alarm system.
We have modified the rainwater drainage system to help reduce the future risk to the building. There is still a lot to be done and we are doing all we can right now to open the Centre later in the year. The intended reopening date of Wednesday 8th December is when we will welcome you back to the gym, sports hall, group exercise classes and library. We will provide a further update mid November.
