British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in the face at a railway station.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said:
“Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was repeatedly stabbed in the face with an umbrella.
“The incident occurred at around 4.30pm on Thursday 11 January at Worcester Foregate Street railway station, when the victim was attacked in the subway of the station.
“Another man used the pole of an umbrella handle to stab several times at the victims face before he eventually managed to get away.
“The suspect is described as white, aged between 30 and 40-years-old.
“He was wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket with white insignia on the check, black jogging bottoms and black trainers.
“He was carrying a large black rucksack and a yellow shopping bag.”
