A boy was taken to hospital in Hereford yesterday evening after a crash on St Owen Street.

The collision involving a cyclist and a vehicle saw the road closed for three hours.

West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the incident and said the following:

“Last night we sent one ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene in Hereford. We treated a boy, who was the cyclist, for injuries not believed to be life threatening.

“The driver of the car involved was checked over at the scene and then discharged.”
