Prime Minister Boris Johnson will host a Downing Street Press Conference at 5pm this evening.
The Prime Minister will be joined by Sir Patrick Vallance and Professor Chris Whitty.
An update on the current COVID-19 situation in the United Kingdom is expected, with the Prime Minister set to once again mention the importance of getting a booster jab with cases continuing to rise across the country.
At this stage, we are not expecting the Prime Minister to announce any further restrictions.
