A popular passageway in Hereford is set to reopen today following a ten year closure.
The Booth Hall passageway has been closed in Hereford since the High Town fire in October 2010.
Work has been ongoing at both Alban House and the Booth Hall in recent years, with Principality and Cherries and Berries now open in the refurbished retail units. Work is currently ongoing to refurbish and build apartments at the back of the units, with the former Booth Hall pub redevelopment ongoing, with the first and second floors now completed and ground floor progressing well. However, we’ve had it confirmed to us today that the contractors are ready to reopen the passageway to members of the public, providing a much needed link between East Street and the city centre.
