Bin man brings smiles to a family in Fownhope
A refuse collector was praised yesterday evening after bringing joy to a local family with a kind gift.
Chris Bond from Hereford was collecting rubbish from Fownhope on Tuesday and when he spotted Eddie, a young boy from the village, he popped out of the truck and handed over an Easter Egg.
Eddie’s mum Natalie said:
“Chris Bond thank you so so much. You really are Eddie’s hero! You have made him one happy little boy on more than one occasion.”
Eddie’s gran Joy added to the praise by saying:
“Thank you Chris Bond for making Eddie’s day. He says he is going to be a bin man when he grows up. He even had a bin lorry cake for his birthday. You are his hero.”
