Asda have been forced to close their Hereford store this lunchtime, following technical difficulties.

Customers reported issues with the checkouts, with one customer saying that the store had experienced a power cut and that customers were unable to pay for their shopping.

The store has since been closed, with reports that a technician is on the way from Cheltenham to fix the issue. The store was full of shoppers purchasing food and drink ahead of what is set to be a scorcher of a weekend, with temperatures expected to hit 30c in Herefordshire.
