A widow has spoken of the upset caused after sentimental ornaments were taken from the graves of her late husband and son.
Police are now appealing for information and asking anyone who believes they may be able to help to come forward.
It was reported that unknown offenders had removed a number of ornaments which were on the graves of Sue Taylor’s loved ones causing great distress to her family.
The graves are situated within Pauntley Church in Redmarley and the theft is believed to have taken place sometime between Saturday 16 and Saturday 23 July.
Sue has provided a statement about the hurt caused by this incident saying: “It has really upset all of the family – for it to happen twice is devastating.
“The items that were taken from the graves mean so much to me. I just can’t understand why anyone would do such a terrible thing.”
