Police are appealing for information to identify and locate a distressed woman who was seen in the early hours of this morning, Friday 17 March.

A dog walker called police to say that at around 1am he had seen a lone woman with no shoes on in the area of Wheatway, Gloucestershire, where there is an alleyway which then goes onto The Ash Path M5 motorway overbridge.

She was last seen running in the direction of Upton St Leonards.
