A Tesco customer in Wales has shared her rage on social media after she was told that she couldn’t purchase sanitary products as they were deemed as ‘non-essential’ following new rules implemented by the Welsh Government.
Tesco has since apologised for refusing to sell the items by saying that the company agreed tampons could be sold after all, and claimed the Twitter user who was unable to buy pads suffered “an isolated incident in one store, where an area was cordoned off that should not have been”.
