An alert has been issued following a concerning incident in a Herefordshire village.
From Shobdon Village Facebook page:
“Reported below happening just outside Pembridge.
“Also similar incident on Saturday in Ledicot Lane involving 2 cars and 8 occupants.
“It comes to something when girls can’t even go out for a run and feel safe.
“Today, three men in a car thought it was acceptable to target my daughter – to catcall her, shout out of the window, then drive into a field to circle around before driving off whilst beeping their horn and making her feel unsafe.
“This isn’t ‘harmless fun’; it’s harassment. It’s intimidating. And it’s unacceptable.
“No one should have to second-guess whether they can go for a run without being targeted like this, especially in a rural area where they should feel safe.
“This happened just outside Pembridge, so please be aware if you’re out walking or running. If you have daughters, sisters, or friends who go out alone, let them know to stay alert.
“My daughter didn’t get the registration number but the car was dark green. This also happened in daylight on a Sunday.”
