An alert has been issued to residents in the South Wye area of Hereford following a concerning incident on Saturday night.
A resident living in the South Wye area of the city sent us the following message:
“Hello, just thought some people might want to be informed of what happened at my house last night.
“We had a man who jumped onto our neighbours garage, ran across there onto our back conservatory/extension and onto our garage roof, falling through it causing damages to the house (as it’s a plastic roof).
“He told us to ring police as there were people chasing him trying to kill him.
“He looked like he had fallen into mud and had no shoes on, so could have been under the influence of something.
“He claimed he was not from Hereford and had a Birmingham like accent.
“This was by Holme Lacy Road/Ross Road area.
“It was super scary for us as we had a month old baby!
“Need people to lock their doors and be extra cautious.”
