An alert has been issued by a member of the public after a young girl was followed by a man in a Herefordshire village.
The incident occurred on Saturday, in the village of Credenhill.
In a post on the Credenhill Community Messageboard, a member of the public, who wished to remain anonymous said:
“On Saturday my daughter was followed by a man on her walk back from the shop.
“He actually changed direction as he walked past her. Asked her age, (she’s 15), and said she looked older.
“Asked where she lived and who was home, repeated this twice. Kept saying she was stunning and brushing up against her.
“She had the sense to walk into the married quarters estate and towards a lady.
“At this point he swiftly walked away. She thought he had maybe been drinking as he was slurring his words a bit.
“Thankfully the lovely lady took her into her house and called me.
“My daughter was very upset and shaking/crying. She thinks he was in his 20’s, around 6 ft tall, wearing a red polo top and jeans.
“Light shaved/balding hair with a dirty face and hands.
“This has been reported to the police.”
